LETTER CHASING PAYMENT
Write a letter in which you will
address the issues below.
On several occasions recently, one
of your main customers has been late settling their account. This has caused
your company cashflow and other problems. Write a letter to the customer in
which you will:
1. complain about the latest late
payment
2. give details of the delay
3. explain the consequences for
your business
4. say what will happen if payment
is not made
5. express condition for
disregarding the email.
This letter must be comprehensive –
it must have the proper layout and address all of the issues above. Follow open
punctuation an block format.
Additionally, you must write
well-rounded sentences, containing specific information – dates, amounts, names
etc.
It is essential that your letter
shows cohesion – one idea flows from another, there is a logical connection
between sentences.
You MUST use the linking words, of
which you have many examples in this correspondence module.
The letter must be submitted in an
editable format, named using your surname. I will mark it, but if it is below
an acceptable standard, you will have to rewrite it until the quality is there.
So it is better to do it first time right.
